What is Traditional Design?

Traditionally styled cabinetry creates a classic, timeless look in a home. The woodwork is flowing and elegant, even ornate at times, utilizing a great amount of detail in trims and stacked crown moldings. Onlays, appliqués, even murals can be used to make the cabinetry look more like the historical furniture on which this design style is based. The colors are often rich though muted, and not overbearing. The decorative nature of the Traditional style is one that is both familiar and refined, creating a warm, comfortable, hospitable atmosphere.
